Who are we?
We are a small, values-driven collective offering care that is personal, respectful, and deeply human.
Extra Hands Care Collective is a community-centred care service built on the belief that good care is about more than completing tasks — it’s about presence, trust, and relationship. We are caregivers, companions, and helpers who take the time to truly know the people we support.
Whether care is provided by Eli or another member of our collective, our approach remains the same: thoughtful, dependable support that honours each person’s dignity, preferences, and independence. We work slowly and intentionally, valuing connection as much as practicality.
What do we do?
We provide companion care that supports daily life, meaningful connection, and independence.
We offer flexible, non-medical care for adults and seniors who could use an extra set of hands, or a familiar, caring presence. Our services are shaped around each person’s needs, routines, and interests.
This may include companionship and conversation, shared activities, outings and errands, light household support, meal preparation, medication reminders, and basic personal care. We also support individuals living with dementia or higher care needs, always working within our training and comfort levels to ensure safe, respectful care.
Above all, our work is guided by relationship. We aim to make daily life feel a little easier, a little brighter, and less lonely.
